The purpose of this web service is to give information to radio amateurs about how to get a license when abroad. All the major DXCC countries have been included in this service now. Thanks for this go to you, active DX travelers, and the ARRL which has done very much work in this respect during the spring and summer 1997.

My files have been collected from various sources like our League SRAL, my own files and on The Internet DX Mailing List or VE7TCP's DX Forum by OH2MCN Veikko Komppa as well as many other sources. The work started on December 1995 with the very good help from Peter ON6TT and the information below will be updated about every week. The information is as good as the information sources, i.e. the DX community. That is you. Hence it is important that you send your corrections, additions, comments, and amendments to OH2MCN by Emailing to Oh2mcn@sral.fi.

It is often said in the following that licensing is without problems. This of course provided that you have the same license from your home country. If you are a newcomer in DXing and traveling; Check the DX Tours and DX Holiday parts on my pages.

Many of the files are coming from ARRL reciprocal licensing information files (Operating Permit Information by Country) and in fact we are all the time combining our efforts together for the benefit of ham society. ARRL has also made a nice summary of Frequently asked questions (FAQ's) regarding operating Amateur Radio overseas. Thanks go to Jon Bloom, KE3Z, Dan Henderson, N1ND, Tom Hogerty, KC1J and John Hennessee, N1KB (SilentKey) in ARRL for good collaboration over the years.

The text part has been divided into many individual files that should help you to print and download the application sheets for further use. The application forms included here are originals with proper logos etc or they have been retyped with some other minor changes from the original ones. Retyping has been done to save bytes and memory space. Lately the policy has changed and the purpose is to have all the application forms as *.pdf files for liability reasons.

If you have application forms which are not here, please send me a copy.

The layout of the application forms is such that printing with Netscape or Internet Explorer directly produces fine application forms. PDF-files cannot be edited unless you convert them back to Word files.
