Hi ,

The following is the current situation on A7 Land regarding the reciprocal licencing procedure.

At this point of time there is no reciprocal agreement/or none is honoured with any country with Qatar that I know of. Also no dxer is given any operating permission officially except one case that was backed by high offcial. Having said that right now there are talks with Qatar amateur radio society regarding reciprocal amateur licence with few countries with encouraging results. I have been trying to get some response towards this goal for past 2 years almost with some success. Hopefully we will see some reaction from A7 officials by end of this year. Updates on this to come as it comes out.

Regards

Murali
