Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard
System Type: Motorola Type II 400 MHz Smart Net
RF Band: 400 MHz (406-410 MHz & 411-415 MHz)

Introduction

Pearl Harbor currently utilizes two separate 400 MHz trunked radio systems to facilitate communications: a Motorola Type II TRS in analog mode, and more recently, a Motorola Type II TRS in digital mode, currently known as PACMERS. While most radio communications a Pearl Harbor have switched to the digital radio system, there are still a few users left on the older system.
