CONTACT Contacting Me

You can contact me in one of several ways: through e-mail, AOL Instant Messenger, YahooGroups, TagBoard, or via the U.S. Postal Service.  Here are some of the important details that you will need to know in order to contact me, and if you're expecting a reply, some tips in making sure that I can get a response back to you as quickly as possible!

Option 1: E-mail me at [email protected]

First, be sure to remove the ".NOSPAM" from the above address.  It was deliberately put in there to prevent bots from harvesting my e-mail address.

Second, double-check to make sure that your e-mail address is valid!  Many times, users will put in an invalid address (obviously to thwart bots from harvesting their e-mail address), not realizing that they'll never receive a reply because their addresses bounce back to me!  I understand the whole point of being security-conscious.

Third, rest assured that I do check e-mail often.  I usually reply to simple and routine e-mail messages the day I receive them.  However, for complex messages and topics, I may dwell on your e-mail a bit longer.  I'm here to help you, and the best way to do so is to be as complete in my reply as possible.

E-mail with hate or derogatory messages will not be tolerated.  I'll just send it to the trash with a single-click of the mouse.

I support scanning responsibly and within the limits of the law.  E-mail enticing any illegal activity will not be tolerated, and any threat directed towards me will be forwarded to and investigated thoroughly by the proper authorities.

Option 2: Contact me via AOL Instant Messenger

My screen name is Quik96706.  I am always online, though sometimes not physically at the computer.  Again the same rules apply: no derogatory remarks, threatening or illegal activity allowed.  I have no problem banishing people with the features offered on AIM.

Don't have AOL Instant Messenger?  Download it here.

Can't download AOL Instant Messenger?  Use AIM Express instead.

Option 3: Join the Radio Monitoring Hawaii list server on YahooGroups.

Meet other radio aficionados that share the same interests as you.  Have a question?  Got information?  There will always be someone who is asking the same question that you're asking.  Join today, you can't go without it.

Same rules apply.  In addition, flaming or cursing out another user on the boards, or the use of any other tactic to harass, intimidate, or threaten another user (including defamation of character or statements that can be considered libelous) is strictly prohibited.  Users violating these rules may have their access disabled, up to and including termination, if conditions warrant such action.

Option 4: Use the TagBoard feature on the homepage.

Leave a comment, or see other comments that others have left.  Login is not required, and all users will be able to see the comments left by others.

Option 5: Use the United States Postal Service
