KCARC was originally formed in 2021 as the Kittitas County Amateur Radio Communication Service. The club was built on the work of three previous clubs in the county, The Upper Kittitas County Amateur Radio Club (WR7UKC), The Rodeo City Radio Club (N7KGS) and the Kittias County Repeater Association (WR7KCR).

We changed our name in December, 2023 to more accurately reflect our broader interests.

KCARC supports several VHF and UHF repeaters in the county under the callsign N7KGS. You will find the frequencies, offsets and tones listed on every page of the website.

The club usually meets for breakfast and meetings on the first Saturday of the month. You'll find the next meeting date located on the right column, as well.

Club news is reported regularly on the News tab, rather than also publish a newsletter. You can also find us on social media on Facebook and QRZ. Dues paying members are welcome to join us on: Groups.io

If you would like to become a member of the Kittitas County Amateur Radio Club, click on the link to the Membership Application, fill it out, and send it, along with a check for dues made out to Kittitas County Amateur Radio Club, to the club mailbox address below. You can also bring the completed form in person to the next meeting, and cash or check will be accepted.

Membership is currently set at $20 per year. New members that join after the first of the year will have their membership prorated.

Full membership is reserved for licensed Amateur Radio operators. Student membership is also available, as is Family membership, and associate members. For more information on membership details, please see the Constitution and By-laws, under the "About" section in the navigation menu. As a reminder, only members current with their dues may vote on club issues.
