TenTec Triton IV (Model 540) with Model 262 Deluxe PS & Speaker

The TenTec model 540 Triton IV is a classic transceiver. It covers the 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter amateur bands. The Triton runs on 12 to 14 volts DC and only draws 500 mA in receive. Maximum power consumption is 18 amps (200 watts input SSB/CW). The Deluxe Model 262 provides all the power necessary, as well as speaker output for the Triton. The transceiver is 4.5 X 13.6 X 13 inches and weighs 12 lbs.

This transceiver was donated to QCWA Chapter 85 and sold at auction to raise money for scholarships.
