System Overview

BeachNet is a network of linked Amateur radio repeaters in southwest Washington. Anything transmitted over any of our repeaters is heard on all stations in the system. With all the repeaters linked together, they operate as one machine, covering the southern coastal counties of Washington State, impossible from any one site. For special events or local emergencies, the network can be reconfigured, tailoring our coverage as necessary. BeachNet works closely with local Emergency Management Agencies to provide emergency communications support in the public interest.

KO Peak Back On The Air!

The KO Peak 441.675 station took a direct lightning strike 11/07/09. As of 11/27/09 the damage has been repaired, and the station is back to normal operation, thanks to all those who donated time and money toward the effort.

User Manual

BeachNet is an OPEN system, which all Amateurs are encouraged to use and enjoy. The best way to be ready for an emergency is to become familiar with the system through everyday use. Click here to download the User Manual, version 11.0 now current.

User Orientation Class November 30, 2009

An Orientation Class at the Fire Hall, Naselle WA, on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at 6:30 PM, will help BeachNet users get the most out of this system. For more information, please click here to visit the "Seminars" page on the Pacific County ARC Website.

Nicolai site not linked

The 444.500 Nicolai repeater is back on the air but temporarily not linked into the rest of the network due to tower construction. We are hoping to get the antennas up and station back to normal before December.
