Using a W-8681 Weather Station |
View My APRS online by clicking the links below.
M1DYP - 144.800 MHz - Packet Radio |
W-8681 Weather Station - Weather Display software (wxnow.txt) - UI-View - TNC Tiny2
The Cumulus software picks up the data
from the Maplin N96GY Weather Station via the USB port,
uploads the details
to the web and also produces a text file called wxnow.txt
UI-View picks up the text file and converts it to
APRS WX data which is then transmitted onto aprs.fi and
via a TNC Tiny 2 and YAESU
FT227 to 144.800 MHz
wx_player also picks up the 'wxnow.txt'
file and converts it to speech, wysiwyh saves the
speech to a '.WAV' file
This wav file can be picked up by echolink and
broadcast over the air
