31 10 23. Due to on-going issues with Weather Underground, I am now using the Ecowitt API
Ecowitt wn1900 Weather Station - Ecowitt website
Cumulus MX software (wxnow.txt) - APRSIS32 - Sound Modem by UZ7HO

The Ecowitt wn1900 Weather Station transmits the weather data to the Ecowitt website.
The Cumulus MX software picks up the data from the Ecowitt website via an API and the internet,
The Cumulus MX software produces a text file called wxnow.txt
APRSIS32 picks up the text file and converts it to APRS WX data which is then transmitted onto aprs.fi,
and APRSIS32 transmits via the Sound Modem and YAESU FT227 to 144.800 MHz.

wx_player (by f6dqm) also picks up the 'wxnow.txt' file and converts it to speech,
wysiwyh
(what you save is what you hear by f6dqm) and saves the speech to a '.WAV' file.
This wav file is picked up by echolink and echo news mp3 plus and broadcast over the air.
currently set to broadcast locally via RF every 15 minutes.

Three messages are sent every 15 minutes.

IDENTIFICATION IN MORSE, WEATHER IN VOICE, IDENTIFICATION IN VOICE.

This system involves 4 computers.

Computer 1 Cumulus MX - Generates wxnow.txt.
Computer 2 APRSIS32 picks up wxnow.txt - Sound Modem  - YAESU FT227.
Computer 3 WXPLAYER and WYSIWYH - generates the audio weather file.
Computer 4 ECHOLINK and ECHONEWS - Transmitts the forecast.

CURRENT SET UP as of 08 05 2023
