7-Element-28-Ohm-Yagi with 9.20m-Boom
![]()
Short data: Gain 10.8 dBd, F/B >30dB, bandwidth 700KHz (49.8-50.5 MHz) at SWR < 1.5. This Yagi was built first for 2m and and the pattern was verified by measurement. After that the Yagi was scaled for the 6m-Band. I used that Yagi with very good results for two years.

Match with 2xLambda/4 75-Ohm-coax in parallel to a grounded socket, feedpoint impedance 50Ohm.

Gain, SWR, F/R, Z for the 7-Element-Yagi Maximum of F/R in the middle part of the band, good balance of all parameters.

The Element-Current-Profile at 50.150MHz plotted with "YO" shows the basis for the good pattern. Yagis with bad profile have many sidelobes, poor F/R and not the best gain. |
