DL5DCL behind the scenes

My name is Dirk, born in 1971 and I live in Erwitte, North Rhine Westphalia. I became my first license in 1991, upgraded in 1993 to full HF. Currently I holding CEPT 1st Class license. Working always barefoot on HF bands only in CW with a Kenwood TS-870 DSP transceiver currently with a simple WARC vertical and wires; taught me to work in pileups efficiently respecting 'the code of ham spirit'. Until today more than 220 DXCC entities confirmed.

Main interests in ham radio include DXing, IOTA collecting and especially, if my time permits, IOTA activations. Active from PA, IOTA EU-038 in 2009, 2010, EA6, IOTA EU-004 in 1999, 2000, 2007, inventor, organizer, single OP and responsible of DQ1175E in 2011, inventor, organizer, multi OP and responsible of DL4ØRCE in 2016 and other small projects.
Member of the Friends of S.F.B Morse Club, the DARC DOK O37 Erwitte active there as QSL manager and responsible for the clubcall DLØAF.

Sometimes you can watch me live via internet stream during my activities. Additionally follow me on Twitter to get the latest news as first. In addition I am very interested in audio (gladly video) snippets recorded during my activities for release on this website and possibly in social networks. Listen audio recordings arrived me from other stations until today.
