Zycomm Microphone Circuit
As we only have one Microphone, some reverse engineering was required, to work out what could be fitted a replacement
The Microphone has a small rating plate, but no information available, so time to remove the back, and take the cover off the connector
Inside there is an electret microphone, a speaker and some discrete components
The circuit inside the Microphone provides DC bias for the electret capsule.
The next task was to work out the wiring inside the Zycomm radios, using the two manuals we have. After a lot of digging about, the wiring looks like a bit of a combination of both manuals,
So, I produced my own schematics.
