MODULE I - INTRODUCTION TO C.I.R.C.L.E. 5
MEMBERSHIP IN ALPHA PHI OMEGA
| |
ALPHA PHI OMEGA is the world's largest fraternity. We take pride in our worldwide membership. We are determined to stay that way only because, if
what we are and what we represent are important and useful to students, then
we should share what we have in order to further our common goals more effectively.
We want to share with colleges and universities all over the world the benefits
that APO gives to students, their campuses and their communities.

Alpha Phi Omega is a college-based organization. Since its founding on December 16, 1925 Alpha Phi Omega has made a positive difference in the lives of college men and women and has helped to improve the quality of life for individuals in need. (For more information about Alpha Phi Omega, please visit visit this page

The three Cardinal Principles -- Leadership, Friendship and Service -- is meant to aid each Member in discovering and developing leadership abilities; making and securing lasting friendships; and planning and providing useful services for
others. Alpha Phi Omega is much more than an extracurricular activity. It is believed that within each of us there lies the potential to make our campuses, our communities and our world better places in which to live. Alpha Phi Omega begins as a college experience, but it becomes a lifetime commitment to turning that noble ideal into a practical reality.
C.I.R.C.L.E. 5 wants to share its APO experience to others. That is why membership to the Club is open even to non-APO members. It is therefore not surprising that our first non-APO members are our family members, relatives, fellow hams and friends. We want you to share that experience, too. However, since the Club is not an APO campus organization, we encourage our non-APO members to join the fraternity thru their respective campus-based Alpha Phi Omega chapters where they will undergo a short pledge period.
