THE C.I.R.C.L.E. 5 ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY The supreme governing body of the organization is the General Assembly which is composed of all members who are qualified to vote. The General Assembly meets once a year in the month of November to elect the Board of Directors who will hold office for the next term. During the annual assembly meeting, the Club President submits his annual report which includes the accomplishments and financial status of the Club. Unfinished business of the Board of Directors and new business are also taken up during the assembly meeting.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The governing body of the organization in between general assembly meetings is
the Board of Directors that holds office for one year from January 1 until December
31 unless re-elected by the assembly. Ten (10) Board of Directors who are all Regular
Members of the Club are elected at large by the general assembly. The newly elected Board will
then elect from among themselves the Club Officers namely, President, the Vice-President for Internal Affairs, the Vice-President for External Affairs, the Corporate Secretary, the Treasurer, the Auditor and Director for Internal Affairs, the Director for Club Services, the Director for Community Services, the Director for Technical Services, and the Director for DX and International Services.
THE CLUB OFFICERS
The Club Officers, elected from among the Board of Directors, is the executive body of the organization. It is composed of the President (who is also the Board Chairman), the Vice-President for Internal Affairs, Vice-President for External Affairs, the Corporate Secretary, the Corporate Treasurer, the Auditor and Director for Internal Affairs, the Director for Club Services, the Director for Community Services, the Director for Technical Services and the Director for DX & International Services.
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (EXECOM)
The Executive Committee (EXECOM) which is chaired by the Club President as Executive Chairman is composed of the different operating committee
chairpersons: Membership and Extension Committee, Finance Committee, Fellowship Committee, Training and Development Committee, Information and Publication Committee, Emergency Action Committee, Community Assistance Committee, Technical Assistance Committee, Watchdogs Committee, DXing Committee, DXpedition Committee, QSL Bureau, and the CIRCLE-Y.
The Committee chairpersons and committee members are all presidential appointees the primary task of which is to assist the Club President in the execution or implementation of plans, programs and activities of the Club.
THE ADVISORY BOARD
The Advisory Board who are all "seniors" in the organization is composed of the Advisory Chairman and two Advisory members. The Advisory Board is appointed by the Board of Directors with the primary function of serving as advisers for the organization while the Advisory Chairman serves as ex-officio non-voting member of the Board of Directors.
