Hi Meadow Lesson 1

I know this is rather self-explanatory, but how many of us just bring, perhaps, an HT to work in the briefcase, maybe along with the mobile in the car? I would've killed for a mobile in the Jeep, but I don't have one just yet. And carrying a bunch of extra gear into work gets a bit cumbersome.

While I only park at the bus stop a few miles down the road, there was a vast difference in conditions between Pine Junction and Bailey, at the time. Fortunately, another ham arrived on the scene with a power supply, and I hacked my cigaretter-lighter-adapter apart to attach to the binding posts of his MFJ distribution panel. If it weren't for him, I would have been stuck as a passive, and in the way, participator.
