A secondary and backup rig is an Icom IC-706 MkIIG that is also controlled by HRD and a separate computer system. Since the '706 came with the remote cable and mounting hardware, I've made it so you can place the '706s head right by the computer for an actual station with full controls.  A Heil Traveller Dual Hedset provides voice capability.  The two Daiwa CN-801's under the 756 Pro III provide metering. The base of the 706 is a brick (literally) covered in cork and painted. It stays in place.  It also has a separate SignaLink USB for soundcard modes and a Parallel Port driven CW keyer.
