How I do my Schematics

I use the evaluation version of Circad at http://www.holophase.com/. The owners of Circad are ham radio operators and there is a discount for Amateur Radio Operators who want their product.

To publish a schematic, go to "Print Out", check "BMP to disk", Color Depth - 1-bit B/W, with a Scaling Factor of 100 to 200. The scaling factor will determine how large the schematic will be. The .bmp image is then converted to a one color .gif file. Most image/picture programs will convert .bmp to .gif. If you need help with a conversion program, send me an email.

The Accukeyer - "...circuit outlined here was updated from a QST article by James Garrett, WB4VVF, published in August 1973, and dubbed the "Accukeyer". K5ESE has done an excellent job of showing how to build this keyer plus updating the chips (HC) and output circuits with MOSFETs. I built mine many years ago with the old 7400 TTL chips and outputs with 300 V MOSFETs. It works fine and will key any rig. Has features that have been lost with the PIC keyers that help send perfect code.
A good copy of the article is here: Good Quality Accu-Keyer article.
