Bob Evans, W7RR, is the newest member to the Cinco Nueve Contest Group. The 1999 CQ WW sweepstakes is his very first contest. He received his first license in 1957 as KN6PUZ at 14 years of age. Although new to DX'ing Bob has piled up 250 worked on 40 meters in just 4 years and DXCC on 40 in one year.

Bob enjoys many aspects of the hobby, including building large antennas, amplifiers, and working DX, with CW being his mode of choice. After 37 years with AT&T Bob retired this July and lives with his wife Noelle W7SUN on a farm South of Portland Oregon.
