CW Skimmer & SDR-1000

CW Skimmer is a neat little program that decodes multiple cw signals all at the same time. This is my particular information relating to setting up CW Skimmer to work with my Flex-5000A, the settings are identical when using the SDR-1000 and FA-66 Edirol soundcard. My set-up follows advice from Mike G0DQS whom I am grateful to. I get about 20Khz bandwidth without the use of VAC, what you can see is limited to your screen resolution - I have mine set to 1280 by 1084 pixels.

The program can be downloaded from Afreet Software and has a 30 day trial period after which it must be purchased for a nominal fee. Installation of the program is straightforward by following the prompts.

You can see the PowerSDR program with standard settings (VAC is NOT enabled)

I have selected Signal I/O = Edirol Ln 2, Left/Right = Q/I, SoftRock-IF, and Audio IF = 9600, Sampling Rate = 96kHz (same as my soundcard), CW Pitch = 600

Here are a few stations being decoded at the same time, there is some sort of pile-up going on at the top of the view - what a neat little program!

Here are a few stations I have worked between 01/10/08 and 09/10/08
