Can you see the antenna?
Here are two pictures showing the vertical wire dipole strapped to an
old fishing pole length, the pole is jammed between the shed roof and
the work-bench. The dipole is fed with 50ohm coax which you can see in
the picture below. Not the prettiest looking antenna - but at a cost of
a few pence and comparable performance of my W-30 co-linear, it has the
added advantage of a stealthy antenna. This is in keeping with my
whole station set-up - which is performance and low visual impact.
