"The Radio Today guide to the Yaesu FTDX101" is available on Amazon, Kindle, and from the RSGB bookshop.
The book covers all the amazing features of the FTDX101D and FTDX101MP transceivers. These radios have superb technical specifications and the FTDX101D currently holds the top position on the highly regarded Sherwood Engineering transceiver performance table. This book covers both variants of the transceiver. The two radios are essentially the same, with only a few minor differences which will be pointed out along the way.

The FT
DX101 has very modern styling, building on the bold colours and features introduced with the release of the FTdx5000. The front panel is dominated by a bright full-colour 7" touchscreen display and a very large VFO tuning knob. The controls will be familiar to users of earlier radios such as the FTdx5000 or the FT1000 series. There are "proper" buttons and knobs for the most used functions. Other functions such as direct entry of a frequency or adjusting the transmitter output power have been moved onto the touchscreen.
