Software - General. These software packages should work with most external TNCs. There is a variety of demos, shareware and
freeware. Due to time, I haven’t listed or tested them all.

WinPack - This is the best packet program out there if you are running Windows 95 and above. Even runs under Vista.
Easy to configure and use.
XPWARE - The author, Gary KF7XP has discontinued support. He has generously placed the software in public domain. I
have used this with a PK-232 successfully. DOS and XP versions. Zipped to include all TNC and registration files.

Click the TNC model for a picture. Software is DOS unless otherwise noted. Not a complete list. Not all tested. Proceed at
your own risk. It’s so easy to pick up a computer with a DB9 serial port, wire up a cable to a TNC, boot up to DOS 6.22 or
FreeDOS and run some packet software!
