Monday 7:00 PM Member & Non-Member Nets
During the coronavirus restrictions, Dial Radio Club is hosting a Net on Mondays at 7:00 PM, except not on the third Monday of the month. All are welcome (members and non-members) to check into the Net. The Net is for everyone to share what they are doing during the coronavirus restrictions.The Nets take place on the 146.61 MHz / -600 kHz / 77 Hz PL Tone repeater that is located in Middletown OH.
If you are outside the repeater over the air range, then you can check in via Echolink Node # 323719.
Third Monday 7:00 PM Member Zoom Meetings
The third Monday of every month meetings have been temporarily moved from the Clubhouse Sports Grill to the online Zoom Video Application because of the coronavirus restrictions.The Zoom meetings start at 7:00 PM. Invitations and instructions are emailed to the club members.
The Dial Radio Club meetings were held at the Clubhouse Sports Grill, 250 N. Main Street, Monroe, OH before the coronavirus restrictions.
The Grill is located on the East side of Main Street, just North of the intersection of SR 63 and Main Street (aka Cincinnati-Dayton Road).

2020 Ohio QSO Party (OHQP)
Dial Radio Club participated in the annual Ohio QSO Party on Saturday, August 22 competition again this year. Because of coronavirus concerns, we competed from our individual homes instead of at one location. We submitted our contacts as independent scores indicating our club names so our scores can be added to our club score. The event started at Noon and ended at Midnight EDT. ARRL Field Day June 27 - 28, 2020
On Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28 Dial Radio Club participated in the 2020 ARRL Field Day competition again this year. Because of coronavirus concerns, we competed from our homes instead of at one remote location primarily as Class D and Class E using our own individual call signs. We submitted our contacts as independent scores, indicating our club name so our scores can be added to our club score utilizing the 2020 special rules.Take a look at the Journal News articles and our photos by going to our Operating Web Page

Dial Radio Club had Technician, General, and Extra Class license examinations on January 22, 2020 at Thesken Hall, Miami University - Middletown, OH Campus.December 2019 New Monroe Repeater Site Installation
In the month of December, Dial Radio Club dug another trench, installed conduit and pulled the antenna feed line to the cabinet. We installed the W8JEU repeater, W8MUM repeater, and the 146.010 remote Rosedale Rd site receiver. W8JEU repeater is on the air and functioning well.November 2019 New Monroe Repeater Site Installation
In the month of November, Mobilcomm installed a new dual band (2 m & 70 cm) antenna on the top of the Todhunter Rd, Monroe water tower.Dial Radio Club removed an old unused cabinet and installed the cabinet from the old West Middletown repeater site. We dug a trench, installed conduit, installed 110 volt circuit to the cabinet. We still need to move the W8JEU (147.315 MHz) Yaesu Fusion repeater from the Rosedale Rd, Middletown site to this new Monroe site and make the new antenna connection.
