First lisenced as SV2CLI in March 1993, as a Mathematics Student of Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki , I entered the Ham Community doing the first steps and working mainly on digital modes on Packet and TCP/IP.

Completing University studies , in 1994, I returned to my home town Alexandroupolis in the North Eastern part of Greece , next to the Greek and the Turkish borders , some 350 kms east of Thessaloniki , the second largest city of the country.

Working with a an HF radio , Yaesu FT-101 ZD and a Gap Titan DX Antenna as SV2CLI/7 at the very beginning and SV7CLI later, I was fascinated in Dxing.

I have confirmed about 300 DXCC entities till now, looking forward for more.

Participating in several contests and special event stations as free time permits, I try to be active on all HF bands.

My newest HF radio , Yaesu FT1000 Mark V , enforces this effort .

As a Lighthouse fan accompanied by other area radio amateurs, we enjoy working from Alexandroupolis Lightouse (GRE- 005) as SY7LH in Lighthouse/Lightship Activity Weekend every year.

As everyone's dream , I would like to participate in a big DXpedition from a remote IOTA in the Pacific.
