About the Red Oak Victory Amateur Club (ROVARC)

The Red Oak Victory Amateur Radio Club (ROVARC) was incorporated in 1999, shortly after the Red Oak Victory was recovered from the mothball fleet. We are to as a non-profit organization that is an ARRL affiliate.

Unlike times past, the ROVARC does not meet regularly, but rather on an Ad Hoc basis. See the Events page, Up Coming Events> to find out about the next meeting.

The club recognizes two forms of membership; Regular and Associate.

• Regular membership requires a valid FCC Amateur Radio License.
• Associate membership is available to any interested person, you do not have to be a radio amateur. Dues for associates are the same as regular membership, but associate members have no voting rights and can't be club officers. (We are willing to help you get your license).
