Rappahannock Amateur Radio Association

Mission & Purpose

   The Rappahannock Amateur Radio Association was established to serve the needs of the amateur radio operators in the Northern Neck of Virginia. 

1.To advance the general interest and welfare of amateur radio as a hobby and a public service. 

2. To maintain and encourage the high standards and traditions of amateur radio.

3. To sponsor specialized projects, both social and technical which can best be carried out by a group of individuals interested in amateur radio.

4. To provide if needed emergency communications in case of man made or natural disasters.
