In 1978 my interest in Radio Communications began as an Army Radio Operator during my service with the Royal Corps of Transport (RCT), whilst based in West Germany during the heat of the cold war. |

In 1983 whilst based in Germany, I purchased my first CB Radio and used it to communicate with the local population. |

In 2001 I took the new Foundation Licence and used the callsign M3ATS. |

In 2003 I took the RAE and now use the callsign M1JPS. |
