This was my first ever RTTY experience and of course my first RTTY contest. AD5CA, Mark, talked me into this one. After he had so much fun in the OK RTTY contest he persuaded me to give it a go. Got N1MM running with MMTTY and away I went. I really enjoyed this one. Whoever says RTTY is dead needed to tune this one in and listen to the hoards of stations on. Had my usual limited antenna problems. 20 absolutely sucked on the 40/80! 15 was good on the A99. EU stations on 10 just where not as abundant as in phone contest. 15 was the money band but I wish I would of had a beam to catch the EU and JA openings. And of course a better antenna on 20 could help too. 40 was good and I just did not give 80 a chance because I quit to early on Saturday and did not get up early on Sunday. My best DX was OR3T (ON4UN) on 40 at 23:16 Sunday afternoon. Had a blast and will do more RTTY contesting in the future.
