Gary recorded the topmost 'More FM' clip at the same instant on his FSL/ultralight equipment. Listen to #1 of "Top 10 Recorded Signals"

17 Hawaiians identified during these sessions at very good levels. The number edged out last year's count and is pretty much the maximum that can be had from the cliffs due to simple antennas and limited (usually one) TOH opportunity per morning. 1420 KKEA was heard this year in addition to the usual 16. 19 Pacifics including robust Tonga and Fiji (both with English IDs). 9 "TAB Trackside" stations in at the same time on Aug 07. On 531 4KZ was missing in action (2PM did make a brief appearance on the 7th). Instead rare "More FM" and Samoan language "531 PI" trading places was the norm on 531 most mornings. "More FM" has only been heard from North America at this cliffside location. Strong signals and lots of parallels prevailed this year, which was helpful. 64 Kiwis and a personal record 45 Aussies including Western Australia's 6WA 558 as the most distant station; another great haul with 109 DUs in the log. As usual, NZ stations outnumbered AUS stations, this time by a 7:5 ratio, thanks to the curious NZ enhancement of the cliffs.

*KHMB 1710 uses five synchronized Hamilton Rangemaster AM1000 transmitters (100 milliwatts each) along the coastline as a legal "Part 15" unlicensed broadcaster. 579 mi / 931 km distant from the DXpedition site!

There were several other AUS stations with decodes. Mackay, QD (4), Weipa, QD (3), and Karratha, WE (2). There was insufficient confidence to log these with so few decodes and they were only present on Aug 07.
Thanks to Chris Smolinski of Black Cat Systems who suggested ADGPS settings for extracting maximum decodes. This doubled the decodes received from some stations such as Corny Point which went from 22 to 56.
