Amateur Radio

I Have been a Keen Radio Amateur since the age of 8.

I was first licenced in 1983 as G6XRJ & then when I succesfully passed my Morse at Wray Castle College in Ambleside (Mr Buzby was my examiner) I gained my present call:- G4WUH.

Equipment

At presant 90% Mobile, using Icom 706 MK1 with mainly home brew mobile whips (Alterd CB radio DV-27 type whip)

Mainly CW Mobile.

10ele 2M Beam (J Beam)

2M/70CM Colinear, 3x5/8th, Both on roof of Bungalow.

Also TH-22E for portable use.
