Introduction

Several times throughout the year, volunteer amateur radio operators offer to teach ham radio classes.  Instead of just memorizing questions and multiple-choice answers, these classes teach you the basic fundamentals of radio theory, propagation, and other technical aspects that comes with the hobby.  These classes are geared to meet once or twice a week for several weeks and are done to prepare students for the entry-level Technician class license exam.

There is a modest fee that includes study materials as well as to cover the fees necessary to administer the licensing exams.
