For pity's sake run the VI and VT curves though a compressor!
Cubic splines are an excellent way to keep the data sets managable
and actually *increase* the accuracy in critical areas. What
we don't need is for the interesting part of the VT curves to
take four points and then have 96 points of boring asymptotes.

(Thanks again, Stephen. For those who don't know, Stepen picked
up the IBIS charter from TI Because It Needed To Be Done. He's
on the sink-or-swim program.)
