Hi,

I think you are talking about the BGA package mounted on a PCB, Right.
I fear you can not just locate the power pins of a BGA component after
mounting. Once we had problems and had to access some pins on a BGA part
We did a rework by removing the BGA and wire the pins out.
Then we thought of providing testpoints for un used signals which we
thought of as imp.
