APRIL - MAY, 1945:

Club is first formed at a social level according to a report in the June, 1945 issue of QST.

MAY - JUNE, 1946:

Club receives call sign W1ORS as reported in July, 1946 issue of QST.

Date approximation is also confirmed by Radio Amateur Call Book.

JUNE 15, 1946:

ARRL "Resolution of Affiliation" application form signed by Andrew J. Dietz of SARC.

JUNE 19, 1946:

Letter of confirmation sent from ARRL, Communications Assistant, Lilian M Salter to Mr. Dietz

regarding receipt of above application.

JUNE 19, 1946:

"Report of Investigation" form covering "Application for Affiliation" initiated by ARRL New England Division Director for ARRL Communications Manager.

JULY 17, 1946:

Above report signed by ARRL, New England Division Director, Percy C. Noble.

AUGUST 21, 1946:

"Certificate of Affiliation" issued by the American Radio Relay League.

SEPTEMBER 9, 1946

Letter from ARRL confirming "Affiliation." Reported in December QST.
