A3 Yagi 8 metres above the ground at my mother in law, my contest QTH. |
My contest QTH is at my mother in law. I have a 3 element Yagi A3 from Curshcraft there, up 8 meters above the ground mounted on top old, rotten tree. The other antennas are only erected for contests, and include full size vertical for 40 meters and Inverted Vee for 80 meters. I use linear amplifier SB200 from Heathkit, which gives approximately 400 Watts output.
I work 99% CW only!
On the front of my QSL card is a picture from Krakow, Poland, where me and my XYL Mette lived between October 1996 and March 1997. The callsigns I activated there were my own SP5LGT/9 and SN9C (contest station of SP9PKZ).
