The Repeater is on the Air
At approximately 1300 on Saturday, December 17, 2011, the K0NLC Repeater at Camp Wilderness went on the air. The first contact was between Bill Jones, NØCIC and Derald Johnson, KAØIZA in Park Rapids. That contact was followed very closely with another contact between Bill and John Crandall, KØWCG in Wadena nearly 50 miles from camp!
Bill has completed reprogramming the identifiers in the controller and the K0NLC repeater stands ready for use by the amateur radio community in Hubbard County.
Below is a copy of the plaque that is on the repeater cabinet. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project and made amateur radio at Camp a reality!
