Monday Night Net

The Camp Wilderness ARC hosts a net every Monday night at 1900 CDT / CST. The purpose of the net is to promote the use of the repeater, practice for emergency communications, and facilitate a friendly exchange of information.

The first net was held on February 20, 2012, with a total of 4 check-ins. Thank you to Bill, NĂ˜CIC for taking care of the net control duties for the first nets.

During the summer, scouts at Camp will be able to assist in running the net and get some hands-on experience with radio equipment. The timing of the net will coincide with Open House Night at Camp, so anyone will be able to participate without having to worry about scheduling conflicts.

We would encourage all hams to bring their 2M handhelds to Camp to make use of the repeater, and don't forget to check in during the Monday nights!

For all net control stations, the information needed to run the net can be found in the Documents section of the website. Click here to go directly to the Net Information page.
