AGWPE + TSTHWIN
+ BAYCOM MODEM + WINDOWS 95
Using TSTHWIN with AGW Packet Engine instead of
Flexnet is useful for who uses this software time to time: infact you can run AGWPE after
Windows is loaded (Flexnet must be loaded under DOS with a batch file, before Windows
runs) and you don't need to deactive any Com Port.
- Software needed:
WINSOCK Ver.2 for Win95 (WS2SETUP.EXE);
AGWPE (AGWPE.ZIP); AGW
PACKET ENGINE 's home page on http://www.raag.org/sv2agw/
);
DRIVER (DRIVERS.ZIP, SYSTEM.ZIP);
TF2AGW DLL (TF2AGW11.ZIP);
TSTHWIN VER. 2.21B (TSHW221B.EXE); (TSTHWIN 's
Home Page on http://www.r-j.it/servizi/hp/ik1gkj/ik1gkj.htm);
- Install and run AGWPE as described in page HOW TO INSTALL AGW PACKET ENGINE;
- Now install TF2AGW' DLL: unzip the file and copy
TF2AGW.DLL under C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and TF2AGW.INI under C:\WINDOWS;
In TF2AGW.INI ther must be the TCP IP address of your PC (if you are using only 1 PC and
no network, just try using the loopback address 127.0.0.1, otherwise you alredy know what
to do!; my TF2AGW.INI have the following lines:
[AGWPE]
IP_ADDRESS=127.0.0.1
TCP_PORT=8000
DEBUG=NOT
TRACE=5
MESSAGES=ON;
- Now configure TSTHWIN, putting the line" 4
0 1 " at the end of TSTHWIN.PRT;
- Load TSTHWIN (after AGWPE.EXE) and give the
comand AX MON IUSC to see packet traffic on the monitor window. Of course, if you want to
transmit, set you CALL (AX MY....) and others in TSTHWIN.CFG. It's possible to run other
packet software that use AGWPE at the same time.
