Activity

As a club we are active most club nights on the HF and VHF bands, predominantly 40,20,15 and 2m bands.

We are also active on all bands on special event weekends, contests and whenever members want to use the clubroom.

The club’s equipment allows us to operate on all of the nine HF bands and also to operate on the 6m and 2m bands. We can also receive weather satellite transmissions.

Operation is on SSB, CW and Data modes including SSTV, PSK31, RTTY and WSJT although SSB is mainly used. On the VHF bands we also try and be active during radio auroras, major meteor showers and during the sporadic E season.
