Bev Gillman ZL3TCR offered to keep a list of current email addresses which will be updated and sent to members regularly. This offer was accepted with thanks.
Margaret ZL3UD noted a pleasant influx of YLs in the Dunedin area, including herself, Irene ZL3VQR, Pam ZL1PAM now a student there and at least two other new licencees.
The question was raised as to whether "Friends of WARO" could be counted as WARO contacts for our Awards and Contests. "Friends" are NOT members, as only YLs can be MEMBERS, therefore, they are not eligible. They are welcomed as supporters of WARO only. It was decided to make a donation of $20 for the use of the room for this AGM.
Every one was thanked for their attendance and the business meeting closed at 1010. We then adjourned for morning tea followed by a chat session.
