Calling
Ham Friends from other country is often called DXing.
To
confirm the QSO, ones should send a confirmation letters called QSL card,
confirming the date, time, frequency, mode and signal report.
There
are lots of activity to help Ham station on collecting as many DX station
as possible.
DXpedition,
is a journey to an area which has no (or few) ham station.
DX
Nets, to help beginners (like myself) to enable to communicate with
difficult to reach DX station, by arranging the traffic of DX station. On
DX nets, a net control station keeps track of which DX station have
checked into the net. He/She the allows a small group of operators
(usually 10) to check in and work one of the DX stations.
