SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE WITH DAN

First licensed in 1999 as Technician Class, then moved up to General Class
in 2000. (....still had to do the CW test too back then!) I operate all
bands and all on phone, no interest in CW. Might go for the Extra sometime
in the future,but we'll see!?

The HF rig is an IC-746PRO with the SM-20 desk mic. The amp is an Ameritron
AL-80B. Antennas consist of the Mosley TA-63N, and a Buckmaster 270' OCF
dipole.I also have up a "dedicated" 60 meter dipole cut for the 5 "channels"
with a perfect 1 to 1 SWR w/o the use of any tuner.

Also in the shack is the FT-8900 hooked to the Diamond V2000A 6/2/440 omni,
or it can be switched to the Cushcraft A14820T beam, giving 10 elements on
FM (vertical) or 10 elements SSB (horizontal) which is hooked to the 746PRO.

I have aquired DXCC, (currently at 302 confirmed with 309 worked & still
plugging away.) WAS, WAC, WAZ, and may look into some IOTA Awards as I have
logged/confirmed many IOTA's over the years. I do love to chase the DX!!

See you on Saturdays. 73,  DAN, N3EEI
