Sectors

During a localized events, Members respond to the staging area located in the colored sector where the event is occuring. There are four (4) sectors assigned to Area of Responsibility (AOR) 1 and four (4) sectors assigned to AOR 2. The first person on the air in each AOR takes on the role for coordinating available members from each sector in the AOR. The first person on site at the Sector Staging Area assumes the role of coordinator for that Sector and maintains contact with the AOR coordinator. The AOR is responsible for maintaining contact with the Incident Commander or Resource Net Control.

Staging Areas

During a widespread event, Members respond to the staging area located in the same color polygon where the member lives. Please note: Wood County and Ottawa County members respond as Sector 7. The first Member to the respective staging area assumes the Coordinator for that staging area and maintains contact with the Incident Commander or Resource Net.
