This is the place to be for updates for the end of April start of May ~ or around about then Springtime project.

This year we are planning the design and construction of an HF antenna that should be suitable for Field Day purposes. The objective is to complete and test the new antenna in anticipation of the upcoming Field Day 2018 event. This is expected to be around June 23-24 but the ARRL has yet to update their website with the current information. More to come when they do.

   Antenna requirements:

     Band - 20 & 40 Meter

     Well grounded

     Lightweight
     Portable
     Durable in inclement weather conditions
     Cost effective

Project leads on this will primarily be those who voted for this selection. Lloyd, Pepper, Brad, JL, and Daren - and well I know there might be others, but those fellows get the go on it.
