Cost Codes: U16 means "kids under the age of 16." 14U means "kids 14 years of age and under." Other ages may be shown also. ULS means "unlicensed spouse." XYL (ex-young lady) is one's wife (or more politically correct, one's spouse) regardless of license status. BYOT means "Bring Your Own Tables." All hamfests are held on Sunday (typically opening at 8:00 am,
6:30 am for vendors) unless otherwise stated. Hamfest information is provided as a service to area hams.
Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information listed
above, but always contact the hamfest sponsor prior to attending to
confirm! Sponsors should notify VARA of changes/corrections to
the above listings to avoid upset patrons. |
*Volunteer Examiner (VE) License Testing: Bring photo ID, original license, any CSCEs, and photocopies
of license and CSCEs. Nominal fee (typically $15) usually
charged. |
Each hamfest sets it own vendor rules, but here are some guidelines. Vendors should always contact the hamfest committee for specific vendor requirements, last minute prices, etc.
