 Sunday Morning Breakfasts

Beyond the mandatory annual business meeting as called out by our Constitution, we have now dispensed with "long and boring" formal business meetings, and in their place have instituted a schedule of very informal, weekly meetings...over coffee and breakfast at a local restaurant.  After a short (very short!) business meeting, everyone then enjoys a hearty Sunday morning breakfast and/or coffee served up by the friendly restaurant staff.

Currently, LCRC's Sunday morning breakfast meetings are now once again being conducted every Sunday at The Sitara Indian Cuisine Restaurant located at 721 Lite Street in Point Edward, Ontario. We usually start gathering just before 8:00 AM (when the restaurant opens) and begin ordering soon thereafter.

During the meeting, patrons can order breakfast, coffee and/or tea off the menu, or they can partake of one of Sitara's outstanding (and very reasonably priced!) Indian or "generic" breakfast specials. The food is great, and the staff are most welcoming!

Visitors to the local area along with prospective new hams and/or members are always welcome to join us, so consider this your personal invitation!

 Wednesday Luncheons - New Time

Now that the cooler weather is upon us, a large group of LCRC members and others have started to once again gather every Wednesday at a local restaurant for a hearty lunch and some vibrant (often lively!) discussions...not only about amateur radio, but also about other news of the world in general.

Currently, LCRC's weekly luncheon meetings are being conducted at the Sitara Indian Cuisine Restaruant on 721 Lite Street in Point Edward, Ontario (just north of the Front Street Highway 402 underpass) on Wednesdays starting at 11:30 AM.  This is a newly revised meeting time as our gatherings were becoming earlier and earlier and were also interfering with other parties at the restaurant.  This is also the same restaurant where we meet for our Sunday breakfasts.

During the meeting, patrons can order breakfast or lunch, along with beverages (including those of the "adult" variety) off the menu, or they can partake of one of the restaurant's outstanding (and very reasonably priced!) luncheon specials. As their name suggests, while their specialty is Indian Cuisine, they also offer a number of other, more generic luncheon choices.

As with our Sunday Morning breakfasts, visitors to the local area and prospective new hams or club members are always welcome to join us, so, once again, consider this your personal invitation!
