think you may be interested in joining Napa RACES, you should listen to
the weekly nets and other exercises as they are announced.
Local Amateur Radio clubs also have some members who participate in RACES activities, and they too can be a source of information: check local repeaters (see Band Plan page) and listen in. If this program is for you, contact the Napa RACES Chief Radio Officer via this e-mail, and you will receive additional information and have the opportunity to fill out an application. After your application is reviewed, if you are accepted into the program you will receive information to arrange for an appointment to become registered as a Disaster Service Worker and be issued a RACES ID card. |
