M2000A OPERATING AWARDS

There are 3 Awards associated with the M2000A special event station.

They are the WCV 2000 AWARD, THE M2000A MILLENNIUM AWARD and the WM2000A
AWARD.
  All three Awards are available to SWLs on a heard basis.

THE WCV 2000 AWARD

1.   This Award is available to any licensed amateur/short wave listener who works/hears  members of Cray Valley Radio Society (CVRS) between 1 Jan.2000 and 30 June.2000.

2.   A total of 2000 points are required to claim the Award. Each member worked/heard counts 50 points, CVRS club stations G1RCV, GX1RCV G3RCV and GX3RCV each   count 100 points. A contact with M2000A is worth 1000 points (only one contact with M2000A is allowed). Each CVRS station may only be worked once on each band.

3.   Contacts/loggings can be on any band/mode.

4.   QSL cards are not required. 

5.   The Award costs �3 ($5 or 8 IRC).

THE M2000A MILLENNIUM AWARD

1.   This Award is available to any licensed amateur/short wave listener who worked/heard M2000A between 1100z on 31st December 1999 and 1100z on 1st January 2000.

2.   Only one contact with/logging of M2000A on any band/mode is required.

3.   QSL cards are not required.

4.   The Award costs �3 ($5 or 8 IRC).



THE WM2000A AWARD

1.   This Award is available for working/hearing M2000A on 5 or more amateur bands between 31.12.1999 and 29.2.2000. Special endorsements are available for 9 or 10 bands.

2.   Contacts can be on any bands/mode.

3.   QSL cards are not required. 

4.   The Award costs �3 ($5 or 8 IRC).



All three awards are attractive colour certificates.
