The purpose of this collection of web pages is to provide a bit of information about my amateur radio activities and station equipment.
My name is Ernest Stracener and I live in Madison, Wisconsin (Maidenhead Locator: EN53ga). I am 29 years old and have been an amateur radio operator since July 1997. Currently, my favorite mode of HF communication is PSK31...some say that it is about as exciting as watching paint dry, but I disagree! I have found it to be a very exciting mode and have made quite a number of DX and continental contacts with less than 30 watts of power.
