I.T.A.R.S. Club Meeting
ITARS club meeting will be held the second Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. The location will be at the Steak and Egg restaurant located at 6th and Wood Drive. Hope to see you there.
Echo-Link
James KA5WHM has the Echo_link up and running on 147.405
After we get the repeater up at it's permanent location this
Echo-Link station will be linked to the repeater and
carry the club call sign of KD5SDJ
New Club President
Bill Griffin, NI5X has stepped up and taken the office of club president. James, KA5WHM has had to resign due to personal obligations.
He was a great president and will be missed in that capacity.
ITARS owes a special debt of gratitude to Jim Benson, NS5U.
He generously donated the repeater, and some of the cavities as well.
Many thanks to Bill, NI5X for his help in putting this thing together. Bill has been a major contributor of time and effort and also donated some of the equipment to get this project off the ground. He has worked diligently for the club and is greatly appreciated!
