I can thank my Mom for helping me become interested in genealogy. She always had wondered about her Grandfather's family, where they had come from, and who they were. My Great-Grandfather, Thomas L.Wilson, had never spoken of his parents or said much about any other part of his family It was rumored that he had ridden with Jesse James' gang but no proof of such was ever found.

During my research I have found several interesting tidbits about my family. I have had several of my ancestors that fought during the Revolutionary War, and more than a few fought in the Civil War. Three of my Great Grand Uncles died in the Mountain Meadows Massacre, and the fact that at least one of my ancestors was Cherokee Indian.
